Newton village shopping centre went through a major transformation in 2020 and is home for Woolworths, Coles and a bunch of other retailers including a new Thread & Beauty Salon. The salon has space for 3 beauty stations aswell as a private room tucked away behind a concealed pivot door. The ultra modern fitout has the same look and feel as the TTP store but is also unique in other ways. The striking and attractive shopfront is created with full height glazing, gold metal / mesh sliding door with a glass centre where it overlaps with a large 65inch digital display. A portal LED around both sides and the top of the shopfront completes the look and makes it an eye catching store that cannot be missed by customers. Inside, the floating beauty stations with a geometric artwork backdrop makes this area look fresh and energetic. This area will be easy to keep clean and tidy as it features benchtop concealed mini bins for each operator. On the opposite side, waiting customers can have a seat on a custom made banquette seat with a massive 250mm of dense bottom and softer top foam cushion that makes waiting customers feel comfortable. The Tasmanian Oak timber cladding in the shopfront zone, the side wall and back wall coupled with contrasting large format marble look floor tiles gives the entire space a warm and welcoming feel.
